The Chancellor, Philip Hammond, recently announced that the Government will no longer proceed with the proposed increase in Class 4 NICs rates for the self employed. The self employed currently pays Class 2 and Class 4. The abolition of Class 2 NICS from April 2018 will still go ahead. Great news for the self employed!
